Rare Dunhill Pipe

This is a double bowl pipe and we cannot find another example of this type of pipe every being made. The bowl has a cork on one side. (seems to be original). If you remove the cork, the bowls become a tube, in other words, you can see straight through it.

The information on the shank is as follows:

MADE IN ENGLAND INNER TUBE Pat No. 116989 / 17 7 To the right of the barrel is also S28 which we believe refers to "Shell".

On the reverse:
HWo [Next to] DUNHILL [Over] London

Note: H.W. "hand, worked" - A hand-carved (as opposed to machine-carved) pipe of classic design. "H.W." stamped on shank. Not made after 1930's.

Length 5 3/4" Bowl: 2 3/4" without cork. White dot on stem.

TEST.

Coming Soon

I have traveled the Hudson Valley & neighboring states in search of unique and beautiful items for over 50 years. In the past the unique items that were found were only available to a limited group of private clients that I have served for many years.

There are treasures that were purchased many decades ago that will now become available.  Some from private grand estates that no longer exist. For the first time, I will be making some of these very special items available for purchase on this website. Each will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

I hope to have some items shown by September and then add items on a regular basis.

Please feel free to bookmark this page and place your email on our mailing list.  We will be sending further updates soon.
